		<description>Agree, Second Life is such a different beast with a different target user and philosophy.  Lively today is cartoon 3D chat for younger audience, plain and simple, which I'm sure it will be successful in.  

Re competing with startups, I think some may find tough competition like Meez and IMVU (although they have an advantage of a far more open content catalog), others will benefit from the increased acceptance of the virtual world.  With 150 Million + 2D avatar accounts that can be moved into 3D avatars, the total opportunity is still big and growing, even with a gorilla grabbing a chunk of that :)</description>
