		<description>I can't think of any (large) Australian company that deserves to be there. Lets face it, though - there aren't many Australian companies which have a large enough world-wide profile to have a chance of getting on that list. 

Amongst those companies which are large enough - well.. it's not like mining companies are exactly prime candidates for inclusion either.

News Corp made it, though...

RIM makes the list because of the high proportion of business week readers who use a blackberry.</description>

		<description>Discounting the potential for UScentricity we still don't seem to make the radar. There may be some great Australian companies out there, such as those you mention, but this is about true innovation coupled with economic success weightings.

One would have thought that we'd have seen Macquarie Bank, Cochlear, Resmed, or even an Atlassian amongst the list.

The absence of these and other great Aussie businesses should not be construed as a lack of innovation in Australia.</description>
